My Lacee turned 12 about June 1st (she was adopted, so we are not really sure). We adopted her 11 years ago from Border Collie Rescue of TX. She was my heart dog, the one that fills your heart to the brim, the one that will never be replaced.
On July 14th, she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her small intestines. She had surgery to remove the tumor and she was recovering well. But, on July 23rd, she lost the battle. I loved her so much, she took a piece of my heart with her.
I did a little tribute to honor her life. She's always in my heart!
Oh Diane, I had no idea you lost Lacee! I'm so very sorry. What a beautiful tribute to her you've done! She'll be playing with 2 new golden BFFs in Heaven...our Paula lost both of hers within a couple of months of each other. And I recently lost my littlest angel cat Mitzi. Lacee will live forever in your heart!

Diane your tribute is beautiful for Lacee. When you made it she seen it and each time someone plays it she see's it again. She was quite the girl at the dog park sharing with BFF. She even made sure her brothers bed was comfortable for him I see. Your video brings memories of mine and others gone before. Rainbow Bridge is a wondeful She will meet others there to play with Paula's Golden, Lynne's cat, my daughters Dozer he is big but gentle Bullmastiff and others. May you heart continue with the joy of the times you had together HUGS
